Seaside facility where you can interact with rescued cats
The official website clearly states that it is a “log house facility where you can interact with rescued cats,” and is also looking for foster parents for rescued cats. This site classifies it as B because we can confirm that you can interact with cats under the management of the accommodation facility.
However, before making a reservation, it is necessary to confirm whether there is a room with a cat, the time when it can be petted, and whether all guests can enter the room. Some of the cats are undergoing treatment, practicing getting used to people, or need rest. Please get permission from the staff to hold, give snacks, or use flash photography. We cannot confirm whether the resident cat visits the guest room.
2-room guesthouse with no meals
According to the official information, there are two rooms for overnight stays. This accommodation is based in a seaside log house, and is not a traditional inn where you can enjoy meals or hot springs. Inside the inn is a non-smoking area. Because cats spend time in the same facility as rescue cats, you must be careful about things with strong scents, small items that can be easily swallowed, and open windows and doors.
Beach/BBQ/Camping
Facing Shinmaiko Beach, you can enjoy swimming in the summer, BBQ and camping in the garden. Events and private use may occur, so if you would like a quiet stay for cats, it is best to ask about availability on the day when making a reservation.
In addition to cash, we also accept credit cards, transportation electronic money, QR payments, etc. Prices, cancellation conditions, and availability of BBQ equipment and ingredients vary, so please give priority to explanations at the time of application.
The location is Futtsu Yahata 156-1.It is within walking distance from JR Sanukicho Station, but if you have a lot of luggage or at night, it is convenient to take a car or taxi. It can be windy some days along the coast, so be sure to check the weather before camping.
