A hostel where two animals who are used to people live.
The current facility information clearly states, “There are two cats inside the inn.”Posts from guests from 2025 to 2026 also include specific records of being greeted at the front desk, being familiar with people, and being able to interact with them. We classify this as B because we can confirm interactions in the common area, but this does not mean that the cat will come to the guest room or bed.
Do not touch cats when they are resting, and do not feed them. Please check with the staff before taking photos or holding the cat. If you are allergic to cats or don’t like cats, the facility advises you not to stay overnight.
Tall dormitory and private room for 4 people
There are 3 types of guest rooms: mixed dormitory, female only dormitory, and private room for 4 people. Most dormitory beds have a tall design, but the female-only dormitory also has lower beds. In-bed lockers are provided. Private rooms are suitable for families and small groups.
Common areas include a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and basic cooking utensils and seasonings. The key to hostels is that you can bring your own ingredients and make simple meals yourself. It’s easy to hear noise, so it’s best to stay quiet at night and bring earplugs if necessary.
A base for sightseeing in Toyama and train travel
The location is Toyama Okuda Shinmachi 8-1.It’s close to Toyama Station, making it a convenient location for taking the tram, sightseeing in the city, or staying overnight before or after traveling to the Tateyama Kurobe area. There is no private parking lot, so if you are driving, please use a nearby coin parking lot. The building entrance closes at 10pm, so please be sure to let the inn know if you will be late.
Even though it is close to the station, the entrance has its own staircase
The official access information was checked on 2026-09-05. It says that you should go from the north exit of Toyama Station, go along the main street, pass the main entrance of the building, and enter the second floor from the emergency staircase dedicated to the inn. You will not be able to enter the reception desk just by arriving at the building address, so please check the official directions photos in advance.
If you have difficulty using stairs or have large luggage, ask the hostel before booking; do not rely only on its proximity to the station.Official FAQ provides information on how to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out on the day of your stay at the locker at the entrance on the 2nd floor. Please consider the itinerary taking into account that you will be using the service on the second floor.
The FAQ also explains that the private entrance is locked after 10pm, and that advance notice is required if you arrive late. Normal check-in is from 16:00 to 22:00 and check-out is until 10:00.If you’re arriving on a late train, check first what steps are available for your reservation.
