“Māode+” in Luodong Town, Yilan County, northeastern Taiwan, is an experience-based facility where you can not only see an inn with cats, but also spend a night in the same living space as the cats. It has been introduced as a lodging project born from Luodong’s cat cafe “Cat’s Life Suggestion”.
How to experience a day living with a cat
The current facility information states that the inn’s theme is “to live like a cat from time to time without rushing.”When the facility first opened, participants were given a tour of the facility, where participants were selected according to their personalities and the wishes of the guests, and were given a one-day experience of living there, including eating, playing, and taking care of the litter box.
This is different from a typical resident cat hostel where the host’s cat can freely roam the hallways and come into the guest room if he feels like it. This facility is designed as a program where you can stay in the same room with a cat, and it is similar to “Maikyatto” in Japan.
This site classifies it as B because the interaction with cats is clear. In the past, sleeping in the same room has been advised, but since we cannot confirm on the official website that the same content and same cat is currently being implemented, we will not use A to indicate the normal guest-room visits type.
Rather than choosing a cat, consult about compatibility

The location listed in the facility information is Fair Street, Luodong Town. The city area is easy to combine with Luodong Railway Station and Luodong Night Market, but please confirm the exact meeting point, check-in method, and luggage storage at the time of reservation.
Small-scale guesthouses in Taiwan do not have 24-hour reception desks like hotels, and may adjust your arrival time via LINE or telephone. Even if you do not assume Japanese support, it is a good idea to save the Chinese facility name, address, and reservation confirmation on your device.
