However, we cannot confirm the cat’s name, where you can meet it, whether you can touch it or not, and whether it will visit the guest room. Meals are characterized by seasonal wild plant dishes using fresh wild plants and vegetables. Basically, you will be guided on a one-night stay with two meals included, and you will be able to experience life in Takachiho, including dinner and breakfast at the inn.
Because the inn uses seasonal natural ingredients, the menu is not set in stone. Please ask the inn about allergies, wild vegetables you cannot eat, and children’s meals before making your reservation. In a guesthouse run by a small number of people, it may be difficult to make major last-minute menu changes.
As a base for sightseeing in Takachiho
It can be used as an inn for trips to Takachiho Gorge, Amanoiwato Shrine, Kunimigaoka, etc. The guest house is about 10 minutes by car from Takachiho Bus Center. If you plan to sightsee around the area using only public transportation, you will need to plan the operating times of local buses and taxis in advance.
The inn is said to be close to Takachiho Onsen, but please do not mistake the inn for a hot spring inn. If you would like to visit a bathing facility, please check the closing days and business hours separately.
