We will post accommodations where you can check both highly independent accommodation types such as whole house rentals, villas, cottages, and one group per day, as well as the points of contact with resident cats in individual articles.

“You can meet cats,” “you can touch them,” and “cats sometimes come to the guest room” are different conditions. A/B/C on this site indicates the distance to the cat, and does not indicate the quality or recommendation ranking of the accommodation.

Range of “private rental” that you want to check when renting the whole building

We will look at whether the entire building can be used by one group, or whether the main building, administration building, and garden will be shared with the host or another guest. Also, the distance will be different depending on whether the cat lives in a private building, meets in the administration building, or comes to visit from outside. Facilities that allow pets but cannot confirm contact with resident cats will not be listed. Cooking facilities, meal provision, emergency contact methods, and door locking are also comparison items that differ from regular inns.

How to read reference materials

The rental range is based on the official guest room/facility guide, and the cat’s location is based on the confirmation source recorded in the linked individual research article. Don’t assume that you will be sharing a room with a resident cat just from the name “Rental House”.

Is the resident cat still present on the desired date?
Where and when you can meet the resident cat, and whether you can touch them or not
Are the conditions the same for your desired accommodation plan?
You may not be able to meet the resident cat due to his rest days or physical condition.
Latest conditions for transportation, meals, and check-in

Even if you rent the whole house, check the location of the cat separately.

There are accommodations where resident cats live in the administration building, accommodations where they meet in the garden, and accommodations where resident cats sometimes come to the guest room building. Don’t assume that it’s a private property so the cat will be with you, but instead ask about the entrance, meals, and exit methods.
