MotoPress Hotel Booking Lite: Easy to try from existing WordPress

MotoPress Hotel Booking Lite official page provides information such as vacancy search, number of guest rooms, rates, taxes and fees, additional services, minimum and maximum length of stay, full amount and deposit, PayPal, bank transfer, and local payment.

While it is easy to understand that you can build a reservation page within your existing WordPress, the official comparison shows that the Pro version includes features such as iCal synchronization with OTA, additional payment methods, and editing of reservation details. Please write down the necessary functions and check whether Lite is sufficient.

VikBooking: Handle your booking engine and PMS within WordPress

VikBooking official page is a reservation engine/PMS plugin for single facilities or facilities managed by the same operator. Even with the free version, you can try out guest room, rates, availability, reservation management, etc.

Seasonal rates, lodging restrictions, numerous payment gateways, detailed customer management, etc. are listed as features of the Pro version. In addition, it is explained that real-time API collaboration with Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, etc. requires a contract for the Pro version, Vik Channel Manager, and E4jConnect.

It is safe to use the free version to check the screens and basic operations, and then separate the “functions necessary for actual business” and “additional costs”.

iCal synchronization and API integration are not the same

iCal linkage is suitable for transferring reserved dates in calendar format. However, there is a retrieval interval, and it is not always possible to synchronize prices, sales plans, number of people, and detailed reservation information immediately.
