However, there is no guarantee that resident cat Open will come to your room every time. Māode+ is also a facility where you can stay in the same room as a cat, but it is a different system designed as an experience program rather than a typical resident cat guest-room visit. You should check the current reception status directly.

Yilan has a concentration of cat shelters with different personalities

In Yilan County, there are four candidates in Luodong, Samsung, and Toucheng. Even in the same cat inn, the accommodations are different, such as Ni Jing’s policy of not using rescue cats as customer service, Pi Tianku’s countryside and a wide variety of animals, and Mu’i’s house in an old house by the sea.

There are some areas that you can take a day trip from Taipei, but it is best to stay overnight and enjoy the surrounding rivers, countryside, and ocean, rather than taking a day trip to accommodate the cat’s active schedule.

Points to note when reserving a cat accommodation in Taiwan

“Pet-friendly” means that pets are allowed, but it does not guarantee that there will be a resident cat.
Small-scale guesthouses may adjust the arrival time via LINE or telephone.
Save the facility name, address, and reservation confirmation screen in Chinese to your device.
